Arch. Nimish Patel showed us a beautiful collage of photographs displaying how stones touch each and every aspect of our life. For this he also presented a novel model of Jaipur Fabrics. Architect Patel also touched upon the vast resources of craftsman in India and their amazing craftsmanship and utilization of stone waste in various architectural applications.

Ar. Marcantonio Ragone, IMM Carrara, Italy presented the splendid use of stone with stainless steel anchors for cladding in different applications He also displayed use of marble in buildings for outer walls giving splendid translucent effect.

Ar. Virendra Trivedi who is a renowned architect engaged in construction of temples all over the world, showed the making of famous Akshardham Temple. He further informed how very good load bearing structures could be made with pre planning so as to ensure good cladding with minimum anchoring. Mr. Sushil Pande, Director Trivedi Corp further informed about increasing use of CAD in designing of these temple projects and how Trivedi Corp is working on big projects through ready to assemble projects.

Arch. Deepak Gahlowt emphasized on standards for usage of stones. He further advocated testing of stones so that an architect could use the stone judiciously as per demands of any specific application. He further presented use of stone as architectural element in various applications.
