Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) was established in 1927 in advice of Mahatma Gandhi, to further the interest of Indian Business Community. FICCI today with a membership of over 500 Chambers of Commerce, Trade Associations and Industry Bodies speaks directly or indirectly for over 2,50,000 large, medium and small business units employing over 20 million people.
After five decades of Independence, FICCI is in the vanguard of nation building and is moving ahead to integrate the Indian Economy with the global village. FICCI has affiliation with over 69 counterpart chambers worldwide.
